Job summary

Gromelski and Associates, Inc. in Manassas, VA is seeking a Hardware Technician to install, troubleshoot, calibrate, test, and maintain electronic and mechanical systems.

You will work from schematics and written instructions, perform data reports, calibration and alignment checks, and ensure proper safety and cable management practices in a fast-paced environment. This full-time role offers a competitive benefits package and a salary range of $40,000 to $55,000.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate an understanding of acceptance criteria with the customer and team.
• Understanding of basic ethernet cable running; best practices and safety.
• Understanding basics of Server Racking; cable management and attention to safety.
• Familiar with drafting basics and necessary tools.
• Understanding basics of water fitting; attention to detail and safety.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Construct, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment.
• Works from schematics, drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
• Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
• Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments and replacements as directed.
• Prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.

Key service areas include Engineering Design and Documentation; Software Development and Testing; System Integration, Testing and Evaluation; Lab Management and Field Installation; Integrated Logistics Support, Training Development and Delivery, Multimedia Support, and Technical System Support.

Hardware Technician Job Description:

Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.

Hardware Technician Requirements:

• Ability to communicate an understanding of acceptance criteria with the customer and team
