Job summary

Waters Hardware in Salina, OK is looking for a Sales Associate to provide outstanding customer service, assist customers in person and on the phone, and help them find hardware items while maintaining a clean, inviting sales floor.

You will learn product knowledge, process special orders, support loading products into customers' vehicles, restock shelves, and uphold store policies. This role requires a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service orientation and professional attitude.
• Willingness to learn about store products and procedures.
• Strong math, reading, writing and communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs and handle physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in person and on the phone, answering questions and suggesting add-on sales.
• Create an inviting environment by keeping a clean, organized sales floor and performing housekeeping tasks.
• Notify customers of promotions and new products.
• Assist with loading products into customers' vehicles as needed.
• Merchandise products according to planograms and help maintain signage; restock shelves.
• Take regular inventory and ensure displays are current.
