Qualifications

• Education/Training: Possess product knowledge of hardware and willingness to learn.
• Experience: Sales and marketing experience with retail programs, establishing relationships and working with guests.
• Experience: Retail environment experience in marketing, sales, back office, or contractor/construction preferred.
• Skills/Knowledge: Knowledge of retail computer systems, MS Word and Excel a plus.
• A commitment to service excellence and guest satisfaction with strong teamwork.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 40 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outstanding guest service and process sales quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Register operations and generate sales, merchandise products, and support store management.
• Greet guests, answer phone calls, and stay aware of promotions.
• Execute daily operational goals and priorities set by management.
• Assist in training and development of peers and handle guest interactions professionally.
• Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards and keep the register area organized.
• Assist with receiving shipments and maintain back stock area.
• Support in safety and loss prevention; assist guests with locating items and processing special orders.
• Solicit guests to open Ridley's Advantage Card accounts and explain benefits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by store management.
