Job summary

Comet Plasma Control Technologies seeks an End to End Technical Project Manager (Hardware) at the San Jose site to lead complex hardware projects from research through production launch. You will coordinate schedules, budgets and cross-functional teams with customers and internal partners to ensure milestones are met.

The role requires a strong engineering background, 5+ years in hardware/firmware/software PM, and proficiency with MS Project and Jira/Confluence.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of Project Management experience handling inception to mass production hardware, firmware, and/or software product development.
• Proficient in MS Project and Microsoft Office Tools.
• Mastery of the Atlassian platform (Jira and Confluence) highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage hardware development project schedules, budgets and resources with engineering teams and communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders.
• Work closely with internal partners on product development schedules, dependencies and budgets.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies and facilitate conflict resolution.
• Interface between customers, product engineering and NPI cross functional teams, setting and managing schedules, budgets and milestones.
• Synthesize large amounts of data into a clear story and communicate to stakeholders and organizations at all levels.
