Job summary

AMD is seeking a Hardware Program Manager in Austin, TX, to drive prototype board production and hardware distribution for APU/CPU/GPU programs. You will own schedules, budgets, and cross‑functional coordination with engineering, sourcing, and fulfillment teams.

Responsibilities

  • Drive prototype hardware manufacturing, procurement, and distribution for APU/CPU/GPU programs.
  • Collaborate with sourcing and fulfillment teams to track deliverables, milestones, and budgets.
  • Resolve issues quickly to ensure smooth program execution.
  • Communicate plans, status, and risk mitigation to the program team and leadership.
  • Develop deep understanding of hardware requirements and guide broader teams.
  • Own data collection and management for prototype hardware supply and demand using internal tools.
  • Coordinate with engineering and program management to manage changes to schedules.
  • Lead process improvements to enhance program execution.
