Job summary

Meter builds networking hardware that businesses depend on to stay connected. This Hardware Engineer role drives development from concept through mass production, owning end-to-end execution and aligning cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, high-quality launches.

You will collaborate with JDM partners and internal teams on architecture, requirements, and build schedules, while coordinating with mechanical and firmware engineers to validate designs and prepare manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience leading hardware programs through EVT/DVT/PVT milestones.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the Lifecycle: drive hardware programs from EVT to PVT with milestones and quality.
• Bridge the Gap with JDM Partners: collaborate on system architecture and build schedules.
• Lead program reviews to surface risks, blockers, and align goals.
• Collaborate with mechanical and firmware engineers on design reviews and validation plans.
• Coordinate with supply chain and manufacturing to ready for production and scale.
• Hands-on debugging on the factory floor and important component decisions.
• Travel to Taiwan to collaborate with manufacturing and design teams.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
