Job summary

Heath Consultants, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Hardware Product Manager to own the end-to-end lifecycle of our hardware portfolio—from market discovery to post-launch optimization.

Translate customer needs and regulatory trends in the gas-utility industry into a compelling roadmap, partnering with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Field Operations to drive revenue growth and operational excellence. The ideal candidate blends product management discipline with curiosity about utility

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of engineering or product management experience.
• Experience leading a product through multiple lifecycle stages.
• Strong technical fluency in hardware, embedded systems, sensors, and manufacturability.
• Experience with Stage-gate processes and Agile/Scrum (Azure DevOps, Jira).
• Ability to synthesize market data and financial models into recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the product vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap for hardware solutions.
• Translate customer and market requirements into clearly scoped product requirements.
• Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams through design reviews and launch readiness.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing on pricing, packaging, and go-to-market for new features.
• Develop messaging, demos, and sales enablement materials; conduct market analyses.
• Build business cases with TAM, revenue projections, and build-vs-buy analyses.
• Drive cross-functional product launches with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Training.
• Establish and monitor KPIs and use data to iterate on strategy.
