Job summary

Stripe is seeking an experienced Product Manager to shape the strategy, development, and expansion of Terminal’s hardware portfolio. You will lead cross-functional efforts spanning hardware, firmware, software, design, operations, and regional teams to align customer needs with technical and business goals.

The role requires strong ownership of roadmaps, collaboration with external OEMs/ODMs, and driving end-to-end product delivery from concept to launch and post-launch iterations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience or equivalent leading complex technology products.
• Experience shipping physical hardware, connected devices, embedded products, or similar complex hardware.
• Experience defining and driving product strategy, roadmaps, requirements, prioritization, and launch plans for technical products.
• Experience partnering with hardware, firmware, and software engineering teams to guide development.
• Experience working with external vendors, manufacturers, OEMs/ODMs, or other strategic tech partners.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute a multi-year strategy and roadmap for Terminal hardware across Stripe-built devices, third-party devices, accessories, and form factors.
• Develop a point of view on where Stripe should build, partner, or expand its hardware portfolio to meet customer needs and market opportunities.
• Define product requirements, user journeys, and acceptance criteria from concept through launch and post-launch iteration.
• Partner with hardware, firmware, software, and quality engineering to deliver high-quality device experiences.
• Collaborate with external OEMs/ODM vendors to evaluate capabilities, define joint roadmaps, and resolve issues.
• Lead global expansion of Terminal’s third-party hardware portfolio, including availability, payments support, certifications, distribution, pricing, and launch readiness.
• Develop and lead evaluation processes for new hardware providers and build business cases for new device categories.
