Job summary

Stripe is seeking an experienced Product Manager to shape the strategy, development, and expansion of Terminal's hardware portfolio. You will work across first-party and third-party devices, guiding multi-year roadmaps for devices, accessories, and partner ecosystems that power Terminal.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience or equivalent leading complex technology products.
• Experience shipping physical hardware, connected devices, or consumer electronics.
• Experience defining roadmaps, requirements, prioritization, and launch plans for technical products.
• Ability to partner with hardware, firmware, and software engineering teams and discuss architecture.
• Strong judgment navigating trade-offs across UX, feasibility, reliability, cost, supply, and timing.
• Experience with hardware product development and manufacturing processes from prototype to production.
• Experience working with external vendors, OEMs, ODMs, or other partners.
• Customer-focused and analytical, with evidence-based prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Set a multi-year strategy and roadmap for Terminal hardware portfolio.
• Define where Stripe should build, partner, or expand its hardware offerings.
• Specify requirements, user journeys, and acceptance criteria from concept to launch and iteration.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, software, and quality engineering teams to deliver devices.
• Engage with OEM/ODM partners to evaluate capabilities and drive joint roadmaps.
• Lead global expansion of third-party hardware, including availability, certifications, pricing, and launch readiness.
• Develop evaluation processes for new hardware providers and business cases for new categories.
• Engage with users, sales, and partners to understand in-person payments workflows and opportunities.
