Job summary

Badger Meter is seeking a Product Manager for Collection Systems Hardware. You will define portfolio strategy, manage roadmaps, and drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to grow the hardware portfolio.

The role focuses on SmartCover and Data Flow Systems, with responsibility for business cases, market assessment, and lifecycle management from introduction to obsolescence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive product management experience.
• Experience managing hardware products throughout lifecycle.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Ability to partner with engineering and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop short- and long-range plans and portfolio strategies.
• Forecast business performance and coordinate lifecycle planning.
• Define and maintain roadmaps for Collection Systems hardware.
• Develop business cases and investment recommendations.
• Prepare market assessments and strategic recommendations.
• Attend customer meetings and industry conferences to stay informed.
• Manage product lifecycle including launches, enhancements, and obsolescence.
