Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Product Development Process Engineer to join our hardware product development efforts. You will work with design, product development, tools, and training teams to define and maintain process strategies within the PDP framework.

You will act as a technical and process expert, ensuring robust design standards and mature processes across programs, and partnering with engineering leadership on best-practice design, testing, and qualification gates.

Qualifications

• ,Must have Mechanical or Electrical design/development experience and bringing new products to market.
• -Experience working with IT tools relevant to design and development (CAD, PLM).
• -Experience with defense industry standards and compliance.
• -Experience working with cross-functional teams to establish requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Design, Program, and Cross-Functional leads to align on best practices and standards.
• Develop PDP tool (GitHub, Party Bus, & Claude Collaboration).
• Gather key requirements and develop architecture for process usage across teams; release and maintain PDP processes.
• Collaborate with tool development to create a user interface for a large user base.
• Define clear process requirements for design and product development teams.
• Own central standards repository (engineering design standards, product maturity framework).
• Partner with Engineering and leadership on design/test practices and gates.
• Centralize requirements for R&D, Design Reviews, Qualification campaigns, and production readiness.
