Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Product Development Process Engineer to join our hardware-focused product teams in Costa Mesa, CA. You will help design and maintain process strategies for design and development workflows across engineering and production groups.

You’ll collaborate with design, program, tools, and training teams to implement robust processes, develop training materials, and oversee rollout and continuous improvement of key design and product maturity standards.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or related field.
8+ years of industry experience as a design/development/process engineer or product manager.
Mechanical or Electrical design/development experience bringing new products to market.
Experience with advanced hardware systems.
Experience with IT tools relevant to design and development (CAD, PLM).
Familiarity with defense industry standards and compliance.
Experience with cross-functional teams to establish requirements.
Must be a US Person.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Design, Program, and cross-functional leads to align on best practices and standards.
Develop PDP tool (GitHub, Party Bus, & Claude Collaboration).
Gather requirements and architect how processes are used across teams; release and maintain these processes in the PDP tool.
Work with tool development to create a user interface tool for a large user base across products.
Define clear process requirements and expectations for design and product development teams.
Own the central standards repository (engineering design standards, analysis standards, product maturity framework).
Partner with Engineering leadership on design/test practices and build/qualification gates.
Centralize requirements into resources for R&D, design reviews, qualification campaigns, and production readiness.
