Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Product Design Technical Program Manager to coordinate the execution of the Product Development Process for device enclosure design in consumer electronics. You will work with PD teams, HW Program Managers, and Operations to ensure steps are planned and executed and progress stays on schedule.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of direct collaboration with engineering teams.
• 7+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• Experience coordinating release schedules across cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of project management disciplines (scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk).
• 5+ years of consumer electronics experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive the team to meet PDP (Product Development Process) requirements.
• Develop, maintain and manage task-based PD schedule.
• Provide risk management and schedule optimization analysis.
• Serve as the PD communication focal point with the Lab126 Core team, Overseas Partners and OEMs.
• Drive and track enclosure material readiness for Engineering builds.
• Manage BOM development and readiness.
• Support through coordination of resources across Process Engineering Team initiatives.
• This position will require some international travel.
