Sesame is designing a wearable computer and seeks a Product Design TPM to own the mechanical program—from concept to EVT/DVT/PVT. You will drive part release, tooling kickoff, first-shots, validation, and factory builds while coordinating with product/industrial design, manufacturing and suppliers.

Strong plan-making and cost-forecasting are essential; travel up to 25% is required. The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years in hardware programs, and hands-on tooling/release

Qualifikationen

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years hardware program management or mechanical/product design in consumer electronics.
• Hands-on experience releasing mechanical parts through EVT/DVT/PVT or equivalent.
• Experience with high-volume manufacturing processes and DFM/validation.
• Experience managing tooling, materials or fabrication suppliers.
• Experience running change control and part release in a PLM tool.
• Strong written communication with clear plans and status updates.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 25%.

Aufgaben

• Own the Product Design program schedule from concept through EVT, DVT and PVT.
• Run PD release and change-control with part ownership and status in PLM.
• Program-manage styles, colors, and materials and SKU rollout planning.
• Coordinate design validation and reliability testing for mechanical parts.
• Manage tooling, materials, cosmetic parts and packaging suppliers.
• Plan mechanical materials and build matrices for prototype builds.
• Lead mechanical build readiness across factory sites.
• Run failure analysis triage for mechanical/cosmetic issues and close items.
• Maintain master issues list and weekly status with area leads.
• Travel to contract manufacturers and supplier sites as needed.
