Amazon is seeking a Product Design Technical Program Manager to coordinate the execution of the Product Development Process for device enclosure design in consumer electronics. You will work with PD teams, HW Program Managers, and Operations to ensure steps are planned and executed and progress stays on schedule.

You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. Working within the Product Design team, the PD Technical Program Manager will be responsible for coordinating execution of Amazon Lab126 Product Development Process, across multiple programs, for the device enclosure design developments of consumer electronics products. The PD Technical Program Manager will work with the PD teams, HW Program Managers, and Operations to ensure necessary process steps are planned and executed, and provide for smooth, reliable progress of programs against target schedules. In addition, you will provide support and coordination within the Process Engineering team to facilitate distribution and tracking of materials under test, returns failure assessment and response, and documentation of “lessons learned” during project developments.

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
• 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
• 5+ years of consumer electronics experience
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
• Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
• Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross-functional teams
• Experience managing procurement teams with direct experience in supplier/supply chain management
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
• 7+ years of direct collaboration with engineering teams, specializing in tooling and manufacturing processes.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
