Job summary

OpenAI's Hardware organization seeks an Operations Program Manager to own NPI and production ramp readiness for AI infrastructure hardware. You will translate strategy into actionable operating plans, align cross-functional teams, and drive tradeoffs to meet schedule, cost, and quality targets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Operations, Engineering, Program Management, or equivalent in hardware domains.
• Proven track record leading complex hardware NPI programs end-to-end.
• Strong understanding of BOM management, ECO/MCO, build readiness, and factory test.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end NPI and ramp readiness across hardware platforms.
• Translate strategy into operating plans and execution priorities.
• Lead cross-functional cadences and ensure issues are resolved with root cause analysis.
• Manage risk, schedule, cost, and quality targets with executive visibility.
• Partner with manufacturers and suppliers, including travel for on-site builds.
