Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager to own material readiness and supply execution for hardware programs, spanning custom silicon, memory, and rack infrastructure.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Strategic Sourcing, Manufacturing Operations, Finance, Quality, and suppliers to design scalable supply strategies that support rapid product development and deployment timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; 8+ years in hardware supply chain roles preferred.
• Experience supporting complex hardware products through NPI and ramp phases.
• Strong ability to translate product requirements into supply chain strategies and drive cross-functional alignment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end material readiness across NPI and production phases.
• Drive supply planning for long lead-time commodities (ASICs, memory, SSDs, networking).Build readiness plans aligned to EVT/DVT/PVT and mass production.
• Monitor supply health, lead times, inventory and capacity constraints; manage shortages and recovery.
