Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley, MO is seeking an Air Proprietary 2 Hardware Engineering Manager (Level L) to lead the Flight Simulation Labs Hardware Team. You will oversee hardware benches housing avionics, drive project plans, manage resources and ensure compliance with safety and security requirements.

Responsibilities include leading Electrical, Mechanical, and Systems Engineering efforts, coordinating with stakeholders, and driving process improvements while developing the team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading an engineering project or team.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering and technical activities across Electrical, Mechanical, and Systems Engineering.
• Ensure program schedules align with hardware assembly plans and maintain metrics.
• Develop and execute project and process plans; set policies and operational goals.
• Acquire resources and manage suppliers; lead process improvements.
• Build relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Participate in program performance reviews, risk management and EVMS activities.
• Oversee technical approaches, products and processes for approvals.
• Support lab compliance, security, safety and configuration management.
• Lead and develop employees.
