Job summary

Integrated Solutions for Systems (IS4S) in Auburn, AL seeks a junior to mid-level Hardware Engineer to design and develop embedded, high-speed electronics for PNT and avionics applications. You will work on custom enclosures, wiring harnesses, and mil-spec connectors, participating in tests and validation with cross‑functional teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in electrical engineering, proficiency with Altium/Cadence/SPICE,熟悉 lab equipment, and readiness to obtain a security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in schematic capture, PCB layout, and simulation tools (Altium, Cadence, SPICE).
• Familiarity with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators, analyzers.
• Familiarity with military standards and specs for electrical hardware design.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded, high-speed electronics for sensing and communications.
• Conduct feasibility studies and simulations for new hardware designs, ensuring MIL‑SPEC compliance.
• Collaborate with software and mechanical engineers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Generate hardware specifications, schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring harnesses with mil-spec connectors.
• Perform prototype testing, troubleshooting, and validation of avionics systems.
• Stay updated on industry trends to propose improvements.
