Job summary

Integrated Solutions for Systems, Inc. in Auburn, AL is seeking hardware engineers to design, analyze, and test PNT system components onsite. You will focus on PCB layout, RF/high-speed electronics, and power systems while collaborating with software and mechanical teams.

Applicants should have a degree in electrical engineering, + experience with Altium, and U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance. Prior military hardware experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with schematic capture, PCB layout, and simulation tools (e.g., Altium).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear communication and collaboration skills.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Determine layer stack up, component selection and placement, and routing of analog, digital, RF, and high-power signals.
• Design and develop RF and high-speed electronics for sensing and communication.
• Develop power electronics and high-voltage systems for military applications.
• Conduct feasibility studies and simulations to ensure compliance with military standards.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, and project management teams for integrated solutions.
• Produce detailed hardware specifications, schematics, and PCB layouts.
• Prototype testing, troubleshooting, and validation of circuit boards.
• Maintain component and design libraries.
• Track industry trends to recommend improvements.
