Job summary

IS4S (Integrated Sol for Sys Inc) in Auburn, AL seeks engineers to support PNT system development, testing, and integration on-site. You will design and develop advanced hardware, including PCB, RF, and power electronics for military applications, and collaborate with software and mechanical teams.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's or Master’s in electrical engineering, experience with Altium, and be eligible for U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in schematic capture, PCB layout, and simulation tools (e.g., Altium).
• Fundamental understanding of electrical circuits.
• Ability to balance priorities among multipletasks and projects.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• U.S. citizenship per 8 U.S.C. 1324(a)(2)(C) and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Determine layer stack up, component selection and placement, and routing of analog, digital, RF, and/or high-power signals.
• Design and develop RF and high-speed electronics for sensing, communication, and other equipment.
• Design and develop power electronics and high-voltage systems for military applications.
• Conduct feasibility studies, analysis, and simulation for new hardware designs, ensuring compliance with military standards and requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions.
• Generate detailed hardware specifications, schematics, and PCB layouts for advanced hardware boards.
• Perform prototype testing, troubleshooting, and validation of circuit boards.
• Maintain component and design libraries
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.
