CFD Research Corporation in Huntsville, AL, seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in embedded hardware design. You will architect and implement advanced electronic hardware for aerospace and military systems, ensuring environment, reliability, and quality per AS9100 and MIL standards.

The role requires hands-on design, hardware firmware integration, and collaboration with firmware, mechanical, and test teams. Preference for candidates with MS/PhD and multi‑layer PCB expertise.

Formación

• BS in Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience with multilayer PCB design and DFx principles.
• Familiarity with aerospace/military documentation and AS9100 standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and development of embedded electronic circuits based on microcontrollers and mixed signal components.
• Architect and implement high/low speed interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, RS485, Ethernet, USB).
• Perform schematic capture and guide multilayer PCB layout for signal integrity and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with firmware engineers to integrate hardware and software.
