Job summary

Unisys is seeking an AV Operations Support Technician/Hardware Engineer to bridge complex technology with an exceptional user experience, ensuring Zoom calls and video conferences run seamlessly.

The role focuses on supporting AV infrastructure, hardware configuration, break/fix and troubleshooting, managing ITIL incident workflows, and maintaining accurate asset inventories across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in technical support or operations
• Minimum 1 year IT systems, networking, and infrastructure
• Minimum 1 year in desktop platforms and operating systems
• Experience with incident management and reporting tools
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Job Title: AV Operations Support Technician/Hardware Engineer

AV Operations Support Technician

We are seeking a proactive problem-solver to support our AV Operations. This role is crucial for bridging complex technology with an excellent user experience. As the backbone of our workplace AV infrastructure, you will ensure every AV interaction, including Zoom calls and video conferences, is a seamless experience.

Responsibilities:

Support, maintain and optimize AV infrastructure including hardware configuration, break/fix and troubleshooting. Act as the subject matter expert for our Zoom ecosystem, including Zoom Rooms, Zoom Device Management, and the Zoom Digital Signage platform. Manage ITIL incident workflows, perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and maintain a precise asset inventory database.

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

At least 1 year of technical support or operations experience

At least 1 year of experience with IT systems, networking and infrastructure

At least 1 year of experience with desktop platforms and operating systems

At least 1 year of with incident management and reporting tools

Technical Qualifications:

A foundational understanding of networking, conference room equipment (Poly, Biamp, and Crestron), AV controllers, and audio signal processing

Preferred Technical Toolkit

Hardware: Poly, Biamp, Crestron, Controllers, Audio DSPs
