Job summary

Meta seeks a Hardware Electrical Engineer to design, validate, and integrate electrical subsystems across consumer hardware and infrastructure. You’ll work with mechanical, optical, firmware, software, and manufacturing teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions from prototyping to large-scale deployment.

You will contribute to design reviews, run feasibility analyses, and support bring-up and debug activities with a focus on reliability and collaboration within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent industry experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience in electrical design or relevant field.
• Strong fundamentals in circuit and system design.
• Experience with schematic/board design using industry tools (Cadence Orcad, Altium).
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment and debugging hardware.
• Experience with DSP, real-time image processing, displays, camera modules or PMIC/BMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate electrical subsystems or simple systems for Meta’s hardware products.
• Create schematics, direct board layout, and participate in design reviews.
• Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate new technologies and components.
• Support manufacturing builds, hardware bring-up, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, software, and manufacturing teams.
• Document requirements, specifications, and test criteria for modules and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical performance issues and reliability concerns.
• Demonstrate self-driven productivity and ownership of assigned areas.
• Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners and drive team goals.
• Participate in process improvement and knowledge sharing.
