Job summary

The Nycor Group in the West Metro Suburbs of Minneapolis is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a full-time direct-hire role. The position offers a very competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to work with an amazing team.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in electromechanical designs, control panels, schematics, and 480V power distribution. Must reside in the Twin Cities metro area; relocation is not provided.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering
3+ years experience in developing and maintaining electromechanical system designs, control panel layouts, schematics, and power distribution like 480V
Translate requirements into a system architecture and detailed design.
Determine feasibility of modifying existing or designing new equipment considering costs, time limitations, and other technical and economic factors.
Validate designs through analysis and testing.
Attend design review meetings and project management meetings.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain electromechanical system designs under supervision or leadership.
Lead development of subsystems in larger design efforts or complete electrical system development in smaller projects.
Provide technical direction to junior engineers, designers, and drafters.
Support internal and external customers with engineering solutions.
