Job summary

Delkor Systems, Inc. in Minnesota seeks a skilled electrical engineer to analyze machine function, design electrical systems for customer equipment, and develop schematics and documentation.

The role requires collaboration with controls programmers and hands-on debugging with service and assembly teams, including field work at customer sites. Candidates should have a four-year Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience (two-year degree + 5 years).

Qualifications

• Able to read, understand, analyze, and problem-solve electrical drawings and related engineering software.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 79, and UL 508A for panel construction.
• Mechatronics and machine control sensing experience; servo sizing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze how a machine will function and create functional specifications.
• Design electrical system for customer machines.
• Select appropriate electronic component parts.
• Develop and draw schematics and related documentation.
• Collaborate with controls programmer to meet required functions.
• Assist service and assembly with electrical debugging on the floor and at customer sites.
• Document electrical standards for panel construction and machine assembly.
• Assist in writing service/operating manuals and R&D for new products.
