Job summary

The Nycor Group in the West Metro Suburbs of Minneapolis is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a full-time direct-hire role. The position offers a very competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to work with an amazing team.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in electromechanical designs, control panels, schematics, and 480V power distribution. Must reside in the Twin Cities metro area; relocation is not provided.

• Translate requirements into a system architecture and detailed design.
• Determine feasibility of modifying existing or designing new equipment considering costs, time limitations, and other technical and economic factors.
• Validate designs through analysis and testing.
• Attend design review meetings and project management meetings.

Our client located in the West Metro Suburbs of Minneapolis; Minnesota is looking to add to their team an Electrical Engineer due to continued growth. The selected Electrical Engineer must reside in the Twin Cities metro area or surrounding area as a Relocation Package is not offered for this position.

Highlights/Qualifications:

Responsible for developing and maintaining electromechanical system designs under the direction of a senior engineer or manager. Lead the development of subsystems in larger design efforts or the complete electrical system development in smaller projects. Provide technical direction to junior engineers, designers, and drafters. Provides engineering support to internal and external customers and performs other tasks as assigned.

Education: BS in Electrical Engineering

Experience: 3+ years experience in developing and maintaining electromechanical system designs, control panel layouts, schematics, and power distribution like 480V

• Working knowledge of business software including MS Office suite.


• Experience with ERP software.


• Collaborate with others to clarify requirements and develop solutions.


• Lead design reviews consisting of multi-disciplined and cross functional team members.

Must be able to pass a drug screening and criminal background check.

Annual salary rate: $90K to $120K (Depending on experience) Plus annual bonus and complete benefits package.
