Qualifications

• 3+ years in hardware design with a focus on digital hardware and board-level design.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware projects from concept to production release.
• Develop designs, run simulations, debug issues, and document results.
• Test prototypes and perform failure analysis using lab equipment.
• Analyze signals for digital/analog circuits and protocol analysis to resolve issues.
• Probe fine-pitch components and perform precise soldering/rework as needed.
• Collaborate with product management to meet requirements and cost targets.
• Test products for conformance with standards and internal quality requirements.
• Support tests for compliance agencies (UL, CSA, TUV, FCC) and implement corrective actions.
• Create and maintain accurate BoMs to ensure smooth transition to production.
• Coordinate with PCB designers and mechanical engineers for cohesive integration.
• Work with software teams to support hardware aspects of software development.
• Coordinate with purchasing for prototype components and testing materials.
• Collaborate with DVT and STRE teams to drive design improvements.
