Job summary

Pacific Fusion Corporation in San Leandro, CA is seeking a Hardware Configuration & Change Management Specialist to own the processes and tools that keep our hardware baseline accurate as designs evolve at startup speed. You’ll manage Windchill workflows, BOMs, and change objects across design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in hardware configuration management in hardware-intensive environments.
• Hands-on Windchill experience with workflows, BOMs, and change objects.

Responsibilities

• Use Windchill as the single source of truth for part numbers, CAD data, BOMs, and released docs.
• Manage the full engineering change lifecycle (ECRs, ECOs, ECNs) with rigor.
• Establish configuration baselines for hardware assemblies and subsystems, ensuring records stay in sync.
• Collaborate with design to structure BOMs, part numbering, and CAD/PLM workflows at scale.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to assess change impact and dates.
• Audit configuration data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies before they affect procurement or assembly.
• Develop and deliver Windchill workflow training for engineers and technicians.
• Support audits by producing traceable configuration and change history records.
