Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Electronic Computer Assembler in Libertyville, IL. The role involves assembling computer hardware, following detailed work instructions, and ensuring high quality. It is a contract position with an hourly pay range and onsite work.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of assembly or manufacturing experience, proficiency with hand tools, and strong computer skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble computer hardware and components by following detailed work instructions and procedures.
• Read and interpret Excel spreadsheets, production orders, and build documentation.
• Verify and organize parts to ensure accurate product assembly.
• Complete production tasks efficiently while meeting quality and scheduling expectations.
• Perform visual quality inspections and report any issues or non-conformances.
• Use basic hand tools and perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
• Collaborate with team members and provide suggestions for process improvements.
• Load and unload materials as needed.
• Support additional production activities as assigned.
