Job summary

Broadcom is seeking a Hardware Applications Engineer to join our AI Networking Infrastructure team on-site. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide hardware technical support, board-level debug, and lab validation for Broadcom’s semiconductor solutions.

Responsibilities include design guidance, schematic/PCB reviews, and creation of design guides and notes, with a focus on enabling customers and accelerating product Bring-up in an on-site role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Computer Engineering (BSCE) required.
• 2–6 years of hardware engineering, applications support, board design, or hardware validation.
• Solid understanding of electrical engineering and PCB design fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience in a hardware lab with standard test and measurement equipment.
• Ability to create clear, customer-facing technical documentation.
• Strong communication and collaborative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hardware design support and guidance throughout the product lifecycle.
• Assist with schematic and PCB reviews, component selection, and reference board bring-up.
• Create and maintain customer-facing design guides and application notes.
