Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a landscape or hardscape crew leader.
• Strong experience in hardscape construction and installation practices.
• Ability to read landscape designs and plans.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as skid steers and excavators.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a crew of 2-5 team members on hardscape and landscape construction projects.
• Execute installation of: paver patios, walkways, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens and living spaces, concrete projects, irrigation, softscape and planting, deck and pergola construction.
• Read and interpret landscape plans, layouts, and project specifications.
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and customer expectations.
• Train and develop crew members in installation techniques and safety practices.
• Manage daily jobsite logistics including materials, equipment, and workflow.
• Track time and production using company systems.
• Communicate progress, delays, and needs with Project Managers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional jobsite.

Schedule: Monday –-Friday (occasional Saturdays as needed)

Position Overview:

We are hiring an experienced Hardscapes Installation Crew Leader to lead and execute design/build landscape construction projects. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for managing a crew in the field, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Crew Leaders play a critical role in our operations by driving daily production, maintaining jobsite organization, and ensuring that labor, materials, and timelines stay aligned with project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a crew of 2-5 team members on hardscape and landscape construction projects
• Execute installation of:
  • Paver patios, walkways, and retaining walls
  • Outdoor kitchens and living spaces
  • Concrete projects
  • Irrigation systems
  • Softscape and planting installations
  • Deck and pergola construction
• Read and interpret landscape plans, layouts, and project specifications
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and customer expectations
• Train and develop crew members in proper installation techniques and safety practices
• Manage daily jobsite logistics including materials, equipment, and workflow
• Track time and production accurately using company systems
• Communicate effectively with Project Managers regarding progress, delays, and needs
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional jobsite at all times

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience as a landscape or hardscape crew leader (required)
• Strong experience in hardscape construction and installation practices
• Ability to read landscape designs and plans (required)
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as skid steers and excavators
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a crew effectively
• Ability to lift 60+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions year-round
• ICPI Certification (highly preferred)
