Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, hotel management/engineering or equivalent.
• Up to eight years of experience in boating/yachting and/or the hospitality sector.
• Sound knowledge of marina operations, boat lifting/handling, towing, plant and equipment maintenance.
• Experience in large scale capital projects is a plus.
• Ability to prepare business plans, understand budgets and monitor outcomes.
• Proven skills in VHF communication, first-aid and fire-fighting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee marina operations and ensure goals, objectives and sales targets are met through planning, directing and managing the marina staff.
• Oversee capital projects and make recommendations for upgrading facilities to ensure health and safety requirements.
• Lead the maintenance team and maintenance activities at two marina properties in the area.
• Provide excellence in customer service and maintain productive relationships with owners, board members or municipalities.
