Job summary

Green-Turtle-Bay-Resort-and-Marina in Grand Rivers, KY seeks a dedicated Marina Harbormaster to oversee daily marina operations, safeguard vessels and patrons, and ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

This role will supervise docking, mooring, fueling, slip rentals and guest services; maintain facilities and records, assist with budgeting, train staff, enforce environmental policies, and coordinate with authorities as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in marina management or harbor operations.
• Strong knowledge of boating safety, navigation, and marina operations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond in emergencies.
• Familiarity with boating regulations at local, state, and federal levels.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and marina management software.
• Valid driver’s license; boating license or certification is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all marina activities including docking, mooring, and fueling operations.
• Ensure the safety and security of the marina, its vessels, and patrons.
• Manage slip rentals, reservations, and customer service inquiries.
• Maintain marina facilities and equipment, scheduling repairs and routine maintenance.
• Enforce marina rules, regulations, and environmental policies.
• Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services as necessary.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and logs related to marina operations.
• Assist with budgeting and financial management of marina resources.
• Train and supervise marina staff and seasonal employees.
