The Port of Oakland is seeking a Harbor Facilities Maintenance Manager in Oakland, CA to lead maintenance, minor construction, and facilities programs for maritime and commercial properties. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, cost control, and customer satisfaction.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with engineering and tenants, manage budgets, and respond to emergencies while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
• Eight years of experience supervising maintenance/engineering functions.
• Must possess a valid California Class C driver's license.
• Available for on-call duty and TSA background check.

• Manages maintenance, repair, and minor construction of buildings, equipment, electrical, and related systems.
• Reviews and prioritizes work requests; develops department policies and procedures.
• Oversees preventive and predictive maintenance programs with engineering staff.
