The Port of Oakland is seeking a Harbor Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead and coordinate maintenance, repair, and minor construction across marina and commercial sites. You will manage budgets, align with engineering teams, and drive preventive and predictive programs to ensure reliable facilities operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in business or engineering and at least eight years of supervisory maintenance/engineering experience.

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.
• Eight years of supervisory maintenance and/or engineering experience.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance programs and budgets.
• Familiarity with CAD and maintenance software.

Responsabilidades

• Manage Harbor Facilities Maintenance Department's maintenance, repair, and minor construction of facilities and equipment.
• Review and prioritize work requests and service orders.
• Establish department policies, schedules and methods for maintenance and construction.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs with engineering staff.
• Supervise and develop subordinate staff; handle grievances.
• Coordinate equipment purchases and specifications.
• Coordinate with engineering, other Port departments, tenants and contractors; address complaints.
• Prepare and monitor department budget.
• Direct emergency and disaster responses and establish an incident command center.
