Position Opening: Door Attendant

Job Summary

The Door Attendant is responsible for crowd management, identification checking, and general guest services. This hourly role has flexible hours ranging from 10 am to 4 am depending on season or day of the week. The Door Attendant must wear plain, dark clothing with no logos.

Responsibilities

• Checks IDs at the door
• Crowd monitoring
• Aware of signs of over intoxication
• General guest services
• Aware of capacity and performs capacity counts
• Dressed appropriately for outdoor weather; able to work outdoors for extended periods
• Knowledgeable of steps of service to greet guests with a pleasant and inviting demeanor
• Communicates with managers

Physical Functions

• Ability to stand/walk a minimum of 8 hours or as needed
• Must be able to exert well‑paced and frequent mobility for periods up to 8 hours
• Be able to lift up to 30+ pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds on occasion
• Work in both warm and cool environments
• High levels of noise from music, customer and employee traffic
• Must tolerate potential allergens: peanut, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, shellfish
