Position Summary/Basic Function
The Handyman Technician is responsible for the restoration and preventative maintenance of properties in their assigned locations. The ideal candidate demonstrates high attention to detail, quality craftsmanship, and strong interpersonal skills to ensure lasting customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance repairs such as ceiling tiles, wallboards, millwork, flooring, wallpaper, and restroom fixtures.
- Address water/cosmetic damage, complete drywall repairs, and painting.
- Carry out minor exterior concrete and masonry repairs.
- Conduct electrical repairs, including replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures.
- Perform plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures.
- Lift/carry up to 50lbs and maneuver tools and materials on ladders regularly.
- Manage team accountability on critical KPIs.
- Operate vehicles safely and use field automation systems.
- Collaborate within the team and communicate repair statuses effectively.
- Provide customer service by addressing complaints and explaining job details.
- Follow safety protocols, especially when working with electrical and plumbing systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of trucks and warehouse facilities.
- Assist in quality control and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
- Interpret construction drawings and specifications, especially related to ceiling work.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs.
- Regularly stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Work on ladders, rooftops, and in various weather conditions.
- Operate power and hand tools safely and accurately.
- Potential exposure to loud noises, extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, and hazardous materials.
- Work long hours, including overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts.
Experience/Education
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
