We Ship Express is expanding with a new Fredericksburg, TX distribution center. The Facility Manager will initially perform daily warehouse operations and operate a company delivery van as startup activities, then hire and mentor a growing team as the site scales.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong warehouse operations knowledge, and willingness to drive process improvements. Local candidates are encouraged to apply for this on-site position in Fredericksburg.

Formación

• Leadership experience managing warehouse or distribution center operations.
• Hands-on warehouse duties in addition to management responsibilities.
• Valid driver's license with clean record in past 5 years.
• Ability to operate a delivery van and eventually a 26-foot box truck.
• Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control & warehouse best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, coach and develop teams.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service mindset with operational excellence.
• Familiarity with WMS and MS Office.
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment and enforce policies.
• Willingness to become certified on warehouse PIT equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and participate in daily warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, fulfillment, inventory control, packing and order processing.
• Operate a company delivery van to perform pickups and deliveries, ensuring proper loading, securing and timely transport.
• Assist with setting up and developing operations at a new distribution facility, including processes and workflows.
• Maintain an active hands-on presence, performing daily operational duties as needed.
• Establish productivity, quality, safety and inventory accuracy standards.
• Plan and organize daily warehouse workflow to meet customer expectations.
• Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Partner with leadership, customer service, finance and transportation to resolve issues.
• Oversee inventory control, cycle counts and reconciliations.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and safe operating conditions.
• Review warehouse docs, receiving/shipping records and vendor invoices for accuracy.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and warehouse safety policies.
• Maintain proficiency with WMS and operational reporting.
• Prepare operational reports for leadership and communicate performance.
• Foster accountability, safety and continuous improvement.
