Job summary

Johnson Controls in Raleigh, NC seeks a Warehouse Coordinator to receive, store, pick, pack, and distribute materials while keeping stock records accurate and the warehouse organized. This hands-on role involves both physical tasks and administrative duties with close collaboration across teams.

You will maintain documentation, conduct cycle counts, and communicate with buyers, customer service, and forwarders to keep materials moving smoothly.

Qualifications

• Accurate and detail-oriented approach to daily work.
• Comfortable with driving a forklift and handling loads up to 70 lbs.
• Experience with warehouse documentation and inventory control.
• Ability to communicate with internal teams and external contacts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day warehouse activities with the warehouse supervisor.
• Receive shipments, process goods receipt, and verify materials against documentation.
• Support picking, packing, and distribution of goods and materials.
• Record incoming and outgoing goods accurately and maintain warehouse documentation.
• Carry out daily housekeeping and basic warehouse maintenance.
• Perform periodic inventory cycle counts and update stock levels.
• Prepare and maintain systematic filing and supporting documentation.
• Communicate by email with buyers, customer service, and forwarders as needed.
• Support ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by the supervisor.
