Job summary

Frontline Real Estate Partners is seeking an experienced Residential Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a diverse portfolio of market rate and affordable multifamily assets in Chicago MSA and surrounding states. You will split time between the office and on-site visits, coordinating maintenance, vendor management, rent collection, and subsidy compliance while ensuring code compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of multifamily property management experience, preferably with Class B/C, affordable housing, workforce housing, or distressed assets.
• Experience managing operations in urban environments and economically underserved neighborhoods.
• Comfort visiting properties and interacting with residents, vendors, contractors, and municipal officials.
• Strong organization and ability to handle competing priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Yardi Voyager and RentCafe experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned properties, in office and on-site.
• Coordinate routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and capital projects.
• Manage vendor performance and contracts; solicit bids as needed.
• Monitor rent collection, subsidies, and housing program requirements.
• Prepare and manage operating and capital budgets; review financial reports.
