Job summary

T. Lowell Construction, Inc. in Colorado is seeking a hands-on Project Manager for municipal underground utilities to own projects from preconstruction through closeout.

You will coordinate with owners, engineers, and field crews, manage budgets, schedules, and contracts, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of relevant experience and strong communication, with the ability to make independent decisions while maintaining client relations.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years PM experience in municipal underground utility or civil construction.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, contracts, billing, and change orders.
• Knowledge of underground utility construction (water, sewer, storm drainage).
• Ability to read construction plans, specs, contracts and documents.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PM/financial software.

Responsibilities

• Manage municipal underground utility projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, cost projections, and documentation.
• Coordinate with Superintendents and field crews to support execution.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, procurement, and resources.
• Monitor project costs, production, profitability, and financial performance.
• Review and manage contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and commitments.
• Prepare and manage change orders, pay applications, monthly billings, and related documentation.
• Identify potential cost, schedule, and contractual issues and address them proactively.
