Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management; directly related underground construction experience acceptable.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in underground wet utilities for self-performing contractors.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, permits, and contracts.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and risk evaluation.
• Knowledge of water, sewer, storm drain, paving, concrete structures and grading.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams to deliver projects by following plans, specs, permits, and contracts.
• Forecast project revenue and costs to ensure profitability and assess risk.
• Coordinate with estimators to establish budgets and understand the project.
• Coordinate with field superintendents to set schedules and resources.
• Price minor change orders.
• Draft subcontracts and purchase orders and manage subs and suppliers.
• Maintain client relationships and provide exceptional service.
• Manage multiple small to mid-size projects for several clients.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and quality requirements are met and documented.
