Job summary

S.J. Louis is seeking a Project Manager for Underground Utilities to lead projects from conception to completion with a focus on safety and excellence.

You will develop budgets and scope, perform site visits, review specs, secure permits, and coordinate with customers, engineers, and subs to keep work on schedule and within budget. The role requires at least 2 years in heavy civil underground utilities, a Construction Management or Engineering degree (preferred), and a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in heavy civil underground utilities construction.
• Estimating background helpful.
• College degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project budgets and scope from conception to completion.
• Perform site visits, review specs and drawings, and secure permits.
• Coordinate with customers, engineers, subcontractors, and the construction team; provide status updates and lead pre-construction meetings.
• Manage subcontractors' schedules and approve invoices; maintain project schedules and documentation.
