Job summary

North American Stamping Group seeks a skilled Tool & Die Lead to maintain tooling and equipment, coordinate die maintenance, and drive continuous improvement on stamping lines. You will supervise Tool & Die Makers, troubleshoot presses, and collaborate with Engineers to implement design changes.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years stamping experience, a toolmaker background, and strong leadership. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and willingness to learn sensor-related electronics.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3 years manufacturing and stamping experience.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED; Toolmaker certification preferred.
• Language: Must be able to read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Keep tooling and equipment in good working order and perform Preventive Maintenance.
• Troubleshoot tooling problems at presses.
• Lead Tool & Die Makers to ensure timely repairs and continuous improvement.
• Interpret prints and work with Engineers to modify prints as needed.
• Enforce safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures.
