Job summary

MGC Diagnostics in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a working manager to lead warehouse personnel and coordinate production, materials, inventory, orders, and shipments.

The role combines hands-on execution with planning, coaching, and cross-functional coordination to strengthen accountability, accuracy, and problem solving. 5+ years in warehouse roles with leadership experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of warehouse or supply chain experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems for demand, orders, shortages, purchasing, inventory, and manufacturing work orders.
• Working knowledge of production scheduling, material requirements planning, inventory control, purchasing, warehousing, and shipments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard business software; ability to manage changing priorities and communicate across functions.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing, including medical devices, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse personnel; coordinate production, materials, inventory, orders, and shipments.
• Schedule orders by ship date, priority, material availability, and readiness; coordinate with Manufacturing, Warehouse, Customer Service and others.
• Review planned orders and MRP, release and organize work orders by priority, capacity, and completion date.
• Monitor open work orders and schedules; communicate changes and escalate risks to delivery commitments.
• Resolve purchasing, subcontract, receipt, late-material, and supplier issues.
• Coordinate material movement, inventory visibility, and shipping logistics across facilities; manage freight carriers to improve service and reduce costs.
• Lead daily coordination meetings and problem-solving; follow up on shortages and issues.
• Maintain ERP/MRP data and use performance measures to improve schedule attainment and on-time delivery.
• Lead continuous improvement using Lean methods, root-cause analysis, and visual management.
