Job summary

MGC Diagnostics in Saint Paul, MN is seeking an Inventory and Logistics Manager to lead warehouse personnel and coordinate production, materials, inventory, orders, and shipments. Responsibilities include maintaining schedules, coordinating shipments, managing ERP/MRP data, driving Lean improvements, and developing staff through coaching

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of warehouse or supply chain experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience is highly desired.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems for demand, orders, shortages, purchasing, inventory, and manufacturing work orders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard business software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production and material schedules aligned with demand, forecasts, safety-stock targets, capacity, and inventory objectives.
• Schedule sales orders by ship date, priority, material availability, and readiness; coordinate shipment timing with stakeholders.
• Release and coordinate manufacturing work orders by priority and capacity.
• Monitor open work orders and communicate changes or risks to delivery and commitments.
• Resolve purchasing, subcontract, receipt, and supplier issues.
• Coordinate material movement, storage, inventory visibility, and shipping logistics across facilities.
• Lead daily coordination meetings and problem solving for shortages and schedule conflicts.
• Maintain ERP/MRP data and use performance metrics to improve schedule attainment and accuracy.
