Job summary

Walbridge offers an internship program designed to launch careers in construction and engineering. Interns gain hands-on experience and mentoring, with assignments across Estimating, Scheduling, Field Operations, Design Management, Cost, Technology and more.

Positions are based at various project sites or Walbridge offices in the U.S., with opportunities to participate in community events and to support Walbridge’s long-standing legacy of excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
• Be passionate about construction, engineering, or related fields.
• Have ability to travel.
• Have strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Be eager to learn, collaborate, and contribute to a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute: Assist in coordination of on-site construction projects and engineering activities.
• Collaborate: Work with experienced team members including Superintendents, Project Managers, Estimators, Schedulers and others.
• Support: Complete documentation in support of subcontractor planning and administration to ensure quality of construction in support of overall project schedule.
• Interpret: Understand and interpret designs, drawings, specifications, submittals, and other construction documents.
