Job summary

Walbridge is seeking interns passionate about construction to gain hands-on experience and mentorship, launching careers in construction and engineering. Interns join teams across Estimating, Scheduling, Field Operations, Design Management, Cost, Technology and more during the summer.

Locations include various project sites or Walbridge offices across the U.S., with opportunities to work in the field or at corporate offices and to engage in meaningful assignments that build professional skills.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
• Be passionate about construction, engineering, or related fields.
• Have ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Contribute: Assist in coordination of on-site construction projects and engineering activities.
• Collaborate: Work with experienced team members including Superintendents, Project Managers, Estimators, Schedulers and others.
• Support: Complete documentation in support of subcontractor planning and administration to ensure quality of construction in support of overall project schedule.
• Interpret: Understand and interpret designs, drawings, specifications, submittals, and other construction documents.
