Job summary

Park Place Technologies is seeking a Production Technician I to join our hands-on hardware testing and refurbishment team. You will troubleshoot servers, storage systems, and networking gear to ensure products are ready for customers worldwide.

You will receive hands-on training and shadow experienced colleagues while learning our processes and OEM platforms. The role offers growth as you build a strong foundation and contribute to a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, or testing enterprise hardware.
• Associate degree, high school diploma, or equivalent required.
• Ability to tackle new technical problems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor resources including disk, memory, and CPU through in-depth stress testing.
• Re-qualify and refurbish disk arrays across multiple OEMs.
• Re-qualify and refurbish server and associated peripherals.
• Investigate hardware/software issues to determine root cause and implement solutions.
• Work in a team environment.
• Assist production areas with various product lines (entry level/midrange storage products, network appliances).
• Assist planning and procurement with parts queries.
• Recertify parts and provide problem determination/resolution.
• Disassemble tested systems into spare parts.
• Tag and bag tested spares.
• Possible after hours rotation for parts procurement.
